This design celebrates one of our smallest and most important relations the bee. Bees' important role as pollinators makes them an honoured relation in many Indigenous cultures, including my own.
The text on the top reads "Be Kind" in Haíɫzaqvḷa or Nuu-chah-nulth (ʕaaḥuusʔatḥ dialect). These languages are my mother tongues. My father is Haíɫzaqv and my mother is Nuu-chah-nulth. I wanted to celebrate both my languages. Please contact us to customize this design for your Indigenous language!
